Journey
Ronis Dankert, known professionally as Ronis Goliath, is a Cameroon-born artist now based in Berlin. Moving to Germany at five, he balanced European surroundings with strong ties to his Cameroonian heritage, creating a distinctive approach to contemporary pop and Afrobeat.
He started performing on Berlin streets and open-air venues, gradually earning attention for his energy and presence. Early shows saw him opening for acts like Rag’n’Bone Man and Kota The Friend. His 2022 single Foo7 marked a turning point, going viral and highlighting both his heritage and personal experiences.
In 2025, he released his debut EP 'Berlin / West Africa,' featuring tracks like 'Too Soon and Ancestors,' co-written with Grammy-nominated collaborators. That year also brought singles Ice 2 Water and Russian Roulette with producers bees & honey, as he toured Germany and Europe, selling out venues and performing at festivals such as Leonpalooza and Summer Open Airs in Mühldorf.
Ronis’s music draws from Afrobeat, pop, R&B, and dancehall, often exploring relationships, identity, and belonging. While he keeps his personal life mostly private, he frequently speaks on his heritage and supports education and community projects in Cameroon.
